Can I still use my insurance?
While we are a self-pay practice and are not paneled with any insurance companies, we can provide a “superbill" upon request. It is the responsiblity of the client to check into their “out of network” benefits, reimbursement rates, & coverage. **This type of arrangement would necessitate a diagnosis.
What can I expect in the first session?
This is a great opportunity to test out fit with your counselor. We will learn about what your “Best Hopes” are from our time together and collaborate to create a treatment plan that fits your needs.
How long is a typical session?
A typical individual or couples session is 50 minutes long while a family session will last one hour. Everybody’s needs are different, so we can discuss alternatives such as double sessions to better suit your unique situation.
How often should I come?
Typically, individuals start by coming once a week, often transitioning to bi-weekly, quarterly, or annually, once they achieved their desired benchmarks and feel that they are beginning to make forward progress.
